HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND – last chance for residents in need to apply for £200 grant payment.
East Riding Council are urging residents to apply for £200 funding from the Household Support Fund, before the Friday, 28 February deadline.
To be eligible for the payment, applicants must be an East Riding resident and to have not received financial support from the Household Support Fund in 2024/25.
Residents must also be receiving housing benefit, the housing element of universal credit, or council tax support. They must have been receiving a means-tested benefit for at least three continuous months, not be in employment, and have less than £1,000 in savings.
As part of the Help for Households campaign, East Riding Council are encouraging people to apply for the money, which is on offer to help residents who are struggling with bills, the cost of food and groceries, and other living costs.
