The KGV Cottingham Community Trust was created in 2009 to take over responsibility for operating the Pavilion in the King George V Playing Fields on Northgate, Cottingham.
QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
Upwards of 1500 residents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and evening events at the King George V Playing Fields on Monday 4 June 2012 to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The event was officially opened by the Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Don Hardwick and their were games, races, a street party, local bands, a children's entertainer, football tournaments and dancing. The finale was a spectacular Beacon, one of 2012 lighted throughout the country, followed by a firework display. Well done to all concerned with organising this special event.
